1. Data We Collect and How We Use It

1.1 Data Stored on Your Device

Songs, setlists, and app settings you create are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to us unless you explicitly publish a repertoire to the Community.

1.2 Backups

The app does not provide iCloud, Google cloud, or manual setlist backup. Its local application data is excluded from supported operating-system backups.

1.3 Community Sharing Feature

If you choose to share a setlist or repertoire through the Community tab:

• The content you choose to share (repertoire name and description, songs, artists, chords, lyrics, notes, keys, genres, language, venue, difficulty, and related song metadata) is uploaded to Google Firebase/Firestore and becomes visible to other app users.
• No login is required; the app uses anonymous authentication (Firebase Anonymous Auth) in the background. This requires no name, email, or password and does not reveal your identity.
• The anonymous session ID is used solely to verify that you uploaded the content.
• Likes, import counters, publisher blocks stored on your device, and abuse reports are used to operate and moderate Community features.

1.4 YouTube Links

If you add a YouTube link to a song, the app opens YouTube in an in-app browser (WebView). The video URL you select is stored only on your device, linked to that song. YouTube's own privacy policy applies during your YouTube.com session.

1.5 Subscription Management

Premium purchases are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app reads the resulting purchase status to unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.

1.6 Analytics and Advertising

The app contains no advertising network, behavioral analytics SDK, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. We do not use your data for tracking or targeted advertising.

2. Device Permissions

Microphone

Used for real-time pitch detection by the chromatic guitar tuner. Audio is processed on-device, is not recorded, and is never transmitted.

Camera

Used for chord-sheet scanning. Images and selected PDF pages are processed locally using the device's OCR facilities on iOS and Android; they are not uploaded to our servers.

Photo Library

Allows you to select one or more chord-sheet photos. Selected images are processed locally only.

3. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from this age group.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local data: Deleting the app from your device automatically removes all local data.
• Community content: You can remove every repertoire published by the current anonymous installation from Settings. If you no longer have access to that installation, contact us.
• Abuse reports: Reports are retained while they are needed for moderation, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update this page and may display a notice within the app. We recommend checking this page periodically.
